David Farrell
David Farrell, MPH, is the founder of People Designs, the company behind Clarity. For over 30 years, David has been developing and studying programs to help people prevent, prepare for, and manage health issues.
At Clarity, David focuses on ensuring a great user experience for all types of users.
Sarah Hooper
Sarah Hooper, JD, is the Executive Director of the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy and Lecturer in Law at UC Law SF. She also serves as Co-Director of the Master of Science in Health Policy & Law Degree (HPL) and the Policy Director of the Medical-Legal Partnership for Seniors clinic. She is an expert in legal issues in aging and dementia and has a special interest in addressing barriers to health for marginalized populations.
At Clarity, Sarah focuses on ensuring highly usable legal content for people of all abilities and incomes.
Denise Watt
Denise Watt, JD, is lawyer and research fellow at the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy. Her work has focused on improving legal services for seniors.
At Clarity, Denise focuses on legal content research and review to ensure high quality state-specific legal and financial content for people in over 50 states and other jurisdictions.
Irene Tessaro
Irene Tessaro, DrPH, is a public health practitioner with experience in the design, development, and evaluation of culturally targeted interventions for health promotion and chronic disease care in clinical and community settings, with a focus on populations with health disparities.
At Clarity, Irene focuses on research design and evaluation to ensure the needs and opinions of potential users, both lay and professional, are considered in the program’s design.
David Menestres
David Menestres, BA, is a experienced project manager with many years in logistics and user support in multiple fields.
At Clarity, David coordinates the many moving parts in the development and delivery of the website, making Clarity a smoothe experience for visitors and providing the support they need when it's not.
Jonathan Wall
Jonathan Wall, MM, is a software developer with over 10 years of experience leading the technical production of health promotion programs. He is experienced in all aspects of the application lifecycle from concept through delivery and has specific technical expertise in open-source web and mobile technologies.
At Clarity, Jonathan makes sure visitors benefit from secure, well-functioning website they can count on.
Heather Dreps
Heather Dreps, MS, is a communications and training expert with a specialty in visual design and media production, including video and animation.
At Clarity, Heather leads production of the videos and visuals that make the website and materials engaging and help visitors understand complicated information.
Veronica Correa
Veronica Correa, BA, is an experienced translator, healthcare interpreter, and Spanish language educator. She has over 10 years of professional cross-sector experience developing and applying a deep understanding of cultural competency within Hispanic/Latinx communities within the US, as well as broader multi-lingual and multi-cultural communication among many populations.
At Clarity, Veronica oversees translation and makes sure cultural and linguistic adaptation of content support the diverse population of Clarity visitors.
Rebecca Sudore
Rebecca Sudore, MD, is a geriatrician, palliative medicine physician, clinical research scientist at UCSF, and founder and director of the PREPARE programs. She has dedicated her career to empowering people with information to make informed medical decisions.
Rebecca advises the rest of the Clarity team primarily on issues related to communicating and working with low-literate, diverse, and vulnerable populations, ensuring Clarity meets the needs of the most underserved.
